You are responsible for
- Leading, managing, and developing the food quality team
- Promoting the quality culture and initiating relevant food safety culture enhancement activities
- Determining quality/ food safety system needs and requirements
- Designing and overseeing the quality, production standards, customer requirements analysis, food safety & hygiene systems and ensuring they are effective, fit for purpose and capable of leading to continuous improvement – managing relevant verification and monitoring activities and plans
- Analysing processes, reviewing models and best practices, formulating, designing and promoting the appropriate quality processes, policies, risk assessments and quality programmes that improve the food safety and quality performance in collaboration with the team supporting the food safety and quality function
- Managing the systems review process, and implementing changes that improve functionality, compliance and effectiveness
- Managing the internal and external auditing processes and acting as the HACCP Coordinator
- Approving product recipes to be set into the company’s ERP system following development, scaling up and standards agreed
- Reporting on the effectiveness and suitability of the food safety and quality management system and continuously looking for opportunities to improve the reporting system
Your Education & Qualifications are
- BSc / MSc in Food Technology, Chemistry, Food Engineering
- Experience 5 years min, in a factory environment and active involvement in quality/food safety management systems
- Experience in team management
- High proficiency in communicating in English, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP
