You are responsible for
- Lead, coach, and supervise the daily activities of the production team, ensuring a safe and productive work environment
- Ensure the manufacturing of components is carried out in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules
- Monitor departmental productivity and proactively identify delays, deviations, or technical issues
- Troubleshoot production challenges and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain, Engineering, and R&D teams to ensure seamless production operations
- Manage materials, consumables, tools, and workforce allocation to achieve daily and weekly production targets
- Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety policies and promote a strong safety culture across the department
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with the Maintenance team regarding repair and preventive maintenance requirements
- Support the training, development, and performance evaluation of machine operators and technicians
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, quality, and operational performance
- Maintain accurate production records, KPIs, labor hours, and quality control documentation
Your Education & Qualifications are
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Production, Automation, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, including experience leading or supervising production teams
- Ability to read and interpret technical and mechanical drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with ERP systems or manufacturing software will be considered an asset
- Good command of the English language, particularly technical terminology, will be considered an advantage
