Yiannis has studied law, but quickly realised that practising law was not what he was meant to do and, having great aptitude for the business world, he began to explore other possibilities and alternatives.

Early on he read Daniel Goleman’s book on emotional intelligence and, combined with his deep love for humans and for true communication and connection with people, he decided to take an MBA course and start a career in the field of Human Resources. He eventually found himself working in this field for over 20 years, as a Human Resources Management executive in both medium- and large-scale organisations.

He learned how to familiarise himself with each company’s culture and how to identify the skills and capabilities of individuals, for the purpose of utilising them to achieve corporate objectives. After gaining integrated experience in all HR operations of a company, he decided to devote himself to human resources consulting. That’s when he joined forces to start a common journey with Silia Christofilopoulou, creating a strong bond and collaboration between two individuals who always complement one another. Together they founded HR Partners in 2018.
